She has a degree in Political and Administration Sciences (University of Santiago de Compostela), a Certificate of Political Studies (IEP-Rennes) and a expert’s diploma on International Cooperation. She studied her master of advanced studies on European Affairs at the Institute of European studies in Brussels and completed it with another in Economics of the University of Santiago de Compostela, both diplomas being the previous requirements for the PhD she is planning. She speaks five languages and has received several Literature Prizes for her tales and poems. She counts on nine years of work experience, since 2004 in the international dimension of local and regional actions, in the departments of the Xunta de Galicia and later in the Atlantic Arc.  In her daily work, she is in charge of preparing research findings to build CAAC lobby, policy positions and EU projects.

She works occasionally as trainer and or facilitator. She has designed and implemented a social media strategy for CAAC. She also undertakes the networking between cities and with other actors in the EU. In addition, she has contributed to the creation of CECICN, the Conference of European cross-border and interregional networks.
