Support for part-time students - Open University campaign

The Open University has launched a Twitter campaign to draw Westminster government's attention to the significant decline in part-time student numbers. We are calling for government to lift the funding restriction in England stopping many adults from retraining with a second degree.

PASCAL Center for Latin America and the Caribbean - Summer Highlights, September: 2016

Tecnológico de Monterrey (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Wikipedia) is the latest PASCAL Centre, and the first  Spanish-speaking country to join. Tecnológico de Monterrey was founded over 70 years ago and now has two dozen campuses in Mexico. This Update describes its dynamic programme of entrepreneurship, including social entrepreneurship, outreach and sharing of knowledge both within the country and internationally.

UALL Awards 2017 - Applications are now invited

The UALL Awards Scheme recognises and celebrates projects, programmes, research and practices that promote lifelong learning in the Higher Education Sector.  The Scheme is open to all institutions in UALL membership. The winner will be announced at the UALL 2017 Annual Conference at York (5-7 April).

For 2017 there is a new international category for innovative engagement/research in an international or transnational context.
