You are invited to an information session on Thursday, 4th December 2014 to discuss opportunities for collaboration with the European Union under the EU Horizon 2020 program with representatives of the Directorate General for Research and Innovation from the European Commission in Brussels.
Horizon 2020 is the EU's new program for research and innovation which will run from 2014 -­-2020 with a budget of $A110 billion; see: http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/horizon2020/ and also the overview featured below.

Hear about the strategic benefits to Australian researchers of participation in H2020, with case studies on the practicalities of participation, and examples of past collaborations and joint research investment.

Representatives of the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Victorian Lead Scientist will outline sources of further support for collaboration.
